What’s to love about this recipe?

It tastes great: Unlike shop-bought whipped cream, the cream dispenser allows you to add all your own ingredients with no chemicals, making it taste so much better.

Presentation: Using the cream dispenser gives you full control over how your cream swirls turn out, meaning how it looks when it’s served is all down to you.

Quick: Using the Smartwhip to charge your cream dispenser takes only 5 seconds, meaning you can make whipped cream quickly and efficiently.

Versatility: The Smartwhip cylinder is a must-have in any baker's kitchen if you make lots of whipped cream. Whether it’s being used for topping hot chocolates at home, or pies and other desserts in the cafe or restaurant, cream chargers are extremely versatile and easy to charge with the Smartwhip.

Easy: Probably the biggest reason you’ll love using a cream charger - it’s so easy to use. There’s no need for an electric mixer to make whipped cream, just a couple of ingredients and a few minutes of your time - then it’s ready to serve!

Ingredients you will need:

Cream: Cream with 27-36% milk fat will work best, or “full cream” as you may be more familiar with.

Vanilla extract: This will add some flavour to your cream besides just the taste of milk. Don’t stop here either - you may wish to add other flavourings to your cream!

Sugar: “Confectioners’ sugar” or “powdered sugar” will sweeten the cream and make it last longer.

Equipment you will need:

Smartwhip: Offering a time-saving cream charging experience and providing 615g of high-quality food-grade nitrous oxide.

Pressure regulator and hose kit: To easily and quickly regulate the pressure of your cream charger within seconds.

Whipped cream dispenser: For your ingredients - making it easy to create professional swirls and dollops of whipped cream and can also hold cream for several days in the fridge.

Instructions:

Mix the cream: Place the whipping cream, vanilla extract, and other ingredients if you wish, and sugar into a large measuring jug. Whisk them until smooth.

Charge the dispenser: Place your ingredients into the whipped cream dispenser and screw the lid on tight. Attach the regulator and hose to your Smartwhip and connect to your whipped cream charger for just 5 seconds to charge, before removing the hose.

Shake it: Once you’ve shaken your ingredients in the cream charger, you’re ready to use. Dispense the cream by holding the canister upside down with the decorator tip pointing straight onto the surface where you want to dispense the cream. Squeeze the trigger with medium pressure and top your favorite desserts and drinks.

Extra tips:

  • Use the cream within 7 days or before the use-by date

  • Always use cold cream

  • Shake the dispenser before each use

  • If the whipped cream turns runny, charge it again to re-whip it

Reminder:

The Smartwhip cylinder optimises the amount of Nitrous oxide, so you’ll have a much larger amount, compared to traditional cream chargers - that’s why we consider it a MUST-HAVE when making plenty of whipped cream!

We hope you enjoyed this recipe and it's time to start creating delicious and efficient desserts, cakes, coffees, and cocktails with the Smartwhip - Ideal for both business and personal use.
